Before you can use a macro and its subroutines in a library
you need to build a library file. You
can do this manually as in the Proton IDE.
Detailed information on the structure of a library file is provided in
the Library Manager Help file. However
the simplest way to build a library file is to use the Macro Extractor plug-in
provided with the Library Manager install.
Macro Extractor can build a library file, adding in the
macros which are to be placed in the library or it can add additional macros
into an existing Library File.

Servos actually take considerably more hardware than steppers do. It
all depends if you are buying or building the hardware, but either way,
stepper drivers are by far the easiest and cheapest to build or buy.
